Day 1 Arrival

On arrival at Jammu, we will receive you from the airport or railway station and proceed to Katra. Katra, which is only about 40 kilometers and one hour drive from Jammu is the starting point of your Kashmir Tours. Check-in to the hotel nearby, relax and freshen-up. Vaishnodevi shrine visit is controlled using yatra passes. You may please plan in advance to collect the passes from the yatra registration counter near the bus stand and get prepared for the trip. You may plan to complete the darshan by evening and get back to rooms, thereafter. Have dinner and relax overnight.

Day 2 Pahalgam

An early breakfast can be taken from the hotel by around 7:30 AM and checkout to proceed to Pahalgam. The journey from Katra to Pahalgam takes about 7 hours and the journey is never an easier one. However, there are some of the tourist spots on the way which can attract your attention and carrying a camera along will be a great thing to do. Arrive Pahalgam a little early in the evening so that you could pursue a pony ride here, which is one of the most important tourist attractions of Kashmir Tours. Return to hotel by evening, take dinner from the hotel and relax.

Day 3 Srinagar

You may take the breakfast from the hotel by 8 AM and check-out from Pahalgam by 9 AM. It takes 3 hours to reach Srinagar. Proceed to Dal Lake, where the houseboats are anchored. The ecosystem around Dal Lake is the nervous system of Srinagar and the locales stay around this area. Upon checking in to the houseboat, you may consider availing a shikara ride for a few hours. Enjoy a scenic and pleasant evening in Dal Lake and return to rooms for dinner thereafter.

Day 4 Srinagar Local

One of the key attractions of your Kashmir Tours is a trip to Sonamarg ? the ?Meadows of Gold?. It?s a live testimony for gold tinged beauty of Sonamarg. The journey is around 3 hours one way and about 90 kilometers in distance. It takes a full and can be planned as an excursion can be planned around this trip. Don?t forget carrying your camera and get mentally prepared for a long day with Himalayas in this part of your Kashmir Tours. Plan to return to Srinagar by evening, post dinner, retire to rooms and sleep overnight.

Day 5 Gulmarag Local

Gulmarg is only about 2 hours from Srinagar and is roughly about 70 kms in distance. After the breakfast at 8 AM, you could checkout from the houseboat and proceed to Gulmarg by 10 AM. Target reaching the hotel in Gulmarg by 12 PM and have dinner sooner. Afternoon, a cable car drive can be planned which is otherwise called Goldolas. Return to the hotel by evening, have dinner and retire to rooms.

Day 6 Gulmarg Temples

Other attractions of Gulmarg include Alpather Lake and Baba Reshi Shrine. Plan to visit them some time in the morning. Post noon, plan a trip to the golf course of Gulmarg ? the world?s highest golf cours. You may also plan to take a short visit to Maharani Temple, skiing spots, Khilanmarg and St Mary?s Church, before returning to the room, by late evening.

Day 7 Departure

 
Finally, the last day of your Kashmir Tours is here. After the breakfast, check-out from the hotel and reach Srinagar. In case the return flight time allows, you may take a short visit to Shankaracharya Temple and Hazrathbal Shrine at Srinagar town. Shopping for some authentic Kashmiri items is the last thing you would want to forget here ? Kashmiri shawls are world famous and you find the most authentic ones here. Drop at airport, as per the return flight timing. Board the flight and return home.
