HOTEL JANDEV CASTLE

Hotel Jandev Castle was built by Rana Ran Bahadur Singh of Balso State in early 1930s as a guest house for the British officers and Royal guests of the state. This was also to satiate the builder and the Architect in him, that such a mansion in wood and stone with elaborate wood work was taken up and accomplished. The Jandev Castle is within the premises of the Balson Darbar, located in village Ghorna, Tehshil Theog of District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. The present condition of the building is good and is being taken care by the owner Kr. Anirudh Singh Jandev.
